The California State Controller's Office (SCO) provides this Data Exchange Portal (DEP) as a secure, web-based portal allowing public users to upload files and reports to SCO.
New users must create an account to upload files to DEP. Instructions for creating an account are available here.
DEP is the preferred method for receiving files for:
Audit Reports:
All electronic files should be submitted in unsecured PDF file format.

- Single Audits – Local Agencies (SA)
- Transportation Development Act (TDA)
- First 5 California (First 5)
- Schools Facilities Program Bonds (SFP)
- Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
